ARTS

It was a wonderful experience to visit an art gallery in Nottingham, where I have never frequenting any art gallery multiple, I was visiting exhibitions paintings only, especially those related to drawing realistic, like the exhibitions of the famous Libyan Artist Awad Obeida, who is known in Europe and the world in general.

When I entered the gallery I have formed a group of impressions, but all are in one direction is an attempt to comprehend. I have found many artifacts that suggest to the viewer multiple ideas and to excite a desire to think. On the one hand I do not consider all what I saw as an art, due to the exhibition included some of the work are exaggerated, for example, the line on the wall or a piece of tin lying on the ground, or the coins, I do not find all of these works of art.

But on the other hand I found a group of outstanding work, the work that I found it the most imaginative is the electronic billboard that blends the colors green, black, included the stunning color and black with wave’s raises a lot of fantasies in your mind as a viewer. The work is the aesthetically pleasing the first three paintings which were taken from English Nature, these works belong to the realist school in the art, and I like this kind of Arts. The amazing and striking work in my opinion is the old recording device and the long-playing record “L.P”, as I lover of music have attracted me this work, because I know that people who like music really, not like the music only, but also like the devices, which are they hear the music through them, my big brother still keeps the long-playing records and he does not like to use the CD’s also he doesn’t like to listen to music through the computer or IPod or use the MP3, and finds that these inventions may be distorted the music and ruined people’s tastes in listening to music, that is why I think that the author of this work tries to convey his idea of love for these things that ceased to exist in the present day. I remember that my brother was always like to listen to the song “Video killed the radio star”:

I heard you on the wireless back in fifty two, lying awake intent at tuning in on you, if I was young it didn’t stop you coming through, they took the credit for your second symphony, rewritten by machine and new technology, and now I understand the problems you can see, I met your children, what did you tell them?, video killed the radio star, video killed the radio star, pictures came and broke your heart.

The best work I've seen and the most controversial, is the work of Charles Avery, who portrays the black hunter cast his rifle on the ground, embracing a white girl. I According to my understanding of the work, the artist wants to convey a message is the earth is a planet for all, and that all races have the right to live, and the color of the skin is not barrier in communication between human beings as long as love exists between them, and that the gun lying on the ground, symbolizing the rejection of violence, throw weapons and live in peace.

HEAL THE WORLD

The man is the basis of environmental changes is responsible for the exploitation of all environmental resources in the earth, and man is the maker of development and powerful force. The need to secure human life and ensure safe living led to the depletion of natural resources, which resulted in prejudice to the environment.

Obviously the technological progress of man more opportunities for change in the environment in light of the increasing need of food, water and well-being, making him looking for ways to provide him with even launched its extensive removal of trees and forest on land for parks populated and industrial plants and commercial enterprises, as a Party to use pesticides and chemical fertilizer in agricultural lands and intensive grazing, which finally contributed to breach the balance of the ecosystem.

Can not be any manufacturing facility that provides for a person as provided by the forest recreation, hiking and amenities atmosphere and fresh air, but not limited usefulness of the trees also provide oxygen for humans and animals, and absorption of carbon dioxide it may many characteristics which contribute to reducing the occurrence of floods as it absorbs the trees leaf rain water and thus reduce the access to water for cities and floods. The trees buffer to the wind for the protection of agricultural crops as its importance prominent green belt around the city to protect it from desert encroachment and sand dune fixation and stop its advance towards farmland.

Resulted in the exploitation rights of the forest and over-harvesting of trees and urbanization at the expense of deforestation to the disturbance of the ecosystem, creating many of the problems that caused the migration of birds and animals and the eradication of insects that have importance to the soil and forest trees also, add to the environmental disasters such as desertification, storms, floods and earthquakes as a result of deforestation.

Many of climatic disasters witnessed the ground during the past six years in particular, which had devastating effects act resulted in thousands of dead and injured in addition to destroying the infrastructure of several cities and the collapse of the health service and where. Disaster, among them the 2004 tsunami and Hurricane Katrina, which hit the United States in 2005, and the Philippines, Typhoon Jonu that hit Oman in 2007 and floods in 2009 Jeddah Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other such disasters earthquake Haiti as well as a series of earthquakes rocked several countries around the world. When you address all these disasters, we find some of us attributed to the nature and this fact does not dust tinged but how you got the enormous loss of lives and property until the affected countries or entire cities, as in the tsunami in Indonesia, which extended its effects to include Malaysia, Thailand, India, Singapore and Pakistan?

The answer brings us back to human-induced activity is devastating and unprecedented investment goods of the earth with the breaches of the ecological balance between man and nature. As that man had attacked on the ground and its system to come to reverse its actions. For example, when they proceeded with the hands of human evolution to the beaches of marine deforestation of hand, and the construction of tourist hotels, resorts and complexes of population near the beaches on the other hand, in that case, we - as human beings - by cutting out the network to protect cities, namely the forest is like a shield to address the floods and hurricanes, as mentioned above as well as building on fragile lands can not resist the act of devastating earthquakes and floods, including that these fragile areas and sparsely populated by massive urbanization around the losses will be significant human and material.

Produced a human activities hazardous drain natural resources, global warming and air and water pollution, soil and waste disposal random to the disruption of ecological balance, and that will certainly affect the future generations if it is not correct human-induced effective negative towards the environment, so you want to do before everything is a commitment to rights and a sense of responsibility moral obligations to the environment surrounding it.

At the end, we must all do what we can do to contribute to protect what is left of a normal life on earth, and I remember Michael Jackson when he sang “Man in the Mirror”:

I'm Gonna Make A Change, For Once In My Life, It's Gonna Feel Real Good, Gonna Make A Difference, Gonna Make It Right . . As I, Turn Up The Collar On My, Favourite Winter Coat, This Wind Is Blowin' My Mind, I See The Kids In The Street, With Not Enough To Eat, Who Am I, To Be Blind? Pretending Not To See, Their Needs, A Summer's Disregard, A Broken Bottle Top, And A One Man's Soul, They Follow Each Other On, The Wind Ya' Know, 'Cause They Got Nowhere, To Go, That's Why I Want You To, Know, I'm Starting With The Man In The Mirror, I'm Asking Him To Change, His Ways, And No Message Could Have, Been Any Clearer, If You Wanna Make The World, A Better Place, (If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place), Take A Look At Yourself, And, Then Make A Change, (Take A Look At Yourself, And, Then Make A Change)….

Also when he sang “Heal the World”:

There's A Place In Your Heart, And I Know That It Is Love, And This Place Could, Be Much Brighter Than Tomorrow, And If You Really Try, You'll Find There's No Need To Cry, In This Place You'll Feel, There's No Hurt Or Sorrow, There Are Ways, To Get There, If You Care Enough, For The Living, Make A Little Space, Make A Better Place... Heal The World, Make It A Better Place, For You And For Me, And The Entire Human Race, There Are People Dying, If You Care Enough For The Living, Make A Better Place, For You And For Me….

And when he sang “Earth Song”:

What about sunrise? What about rain? What about all the things? That you said we were to gain... What about killing fields? Is there a time, What about all the things, That you said was yours and mine... Did you ever stop to notice, All the blood we've shed before, Did you ever stop to notice, This crying Earth its weeping shores? What have we done to the world? Look what we've done. What about all the peace, That you pledge your only son? What about flowering fields? Is there a time? What about all the dreams, That you said was yours and mine? Did you ever stop to notice, All the children dead from war? Did you ever stop to notice, This crying Earth its weeping shores? I used to dream, I used to glance beyond the stars, Now I don't know where we are, Although I know we've drifted far…

Stranded at the Airport

I have already watch “The Terminal” maybe for three times, but I actually did not know behind “The Terminal” a true story. After knowing the real story I found that the film not so much based on a true story as it is inspired by a true story.

The true story was of Merhan Nasseri who lived at Charles DeGaulle Airport from August 1988 to August 2006 as defined through the internet, when he was taken from the terminal because he was an illness. An Iranian political refugee, Nasseri became stuck when his refugee certification documents were stolen from him in France, en route from Belgium to England. Without the papers, he was unable to enter England. Belgium did not permit refugees to return once they had left the country, and France would not allow him to stay because he could not prove his identity. That is the reason why he became stuck at the airport.

Tom Hanks “Viktor Navorski” in the film was a visitor to New York from Eastern Europe. His homeland has witnessed an armed coup, while he was in the air en route to America.

Stranded at Kennedy Airport with a passport from nowhere, he is unauthorized to actually enter the United States and must improvise his days and nights in the terminal's international transit area, until the war at home is over. Vector have lots of skills and popular figure which were made him adapt to live in the airport for nine months, established during this period many friendships and successful relationships. The important one of these relationships was with Catherine Zeta-Jones, as the touch of romance set in the film from the director “Steven Spielberg”, and do not have any presence in the real story of Nasseri. I thought this touch put it in the film to increase intimate scenes or perhaps to increase public demand on the film.

Overall, I liked the movie when I watched for the first time, and I loved it more now when I know it was inspired by the real suffering. Because on the one hand it raised the issue of Nasseri, highlighted and demonstrated to the public. On the other hand it did not address the details of the story, but inspired by the general idea.

The Terminal thought-provoking film which made me wondering how could a person afford to live alone for more than twenty years? And how the human rights organizations accept the role of spectator and be silence about an issue like this?

So as Hollywood’s stars celebrate the premiere of “The Terminal”, the man who inspired it all was preparing yet another night in the terminal's international transit area.

The ending of the film was, of course, a happy one. But “Nasseri” will not head into the sunset with Catherine Zeta-Jones. He many never leave at all.

Pursuit of Happiness

Many people think that money is the key to happiness. But the reality of life says otherwise, many who have money are looking for happiness, and may not find them despite all the luxury in which they live. A lot of people waste their lives in the collection of money and discover how naive they are but usually after it is too late, when they get older and know that life is short and that they had to live life for life, not for the money.
And money is the cause of destruction in the world, as the race men and countries on the money supply such as oil, is the main cause of the death of thousands of people all over the globe, so I totally agree with Michael Jackson when he talked about money in his album “History”, released in 1996, He said:

Money, Lie for it, Spy for it, Kill for it, Die for it, So you call it trust, But I say it's just, In the devil's game, Of greed and lust, They don't care, They'd do me for the money, They don't care, They use me for the money, So you go to church, Read the Holy

word, In the scheme of life, It's all absurd, They don't care, They'd kill for the money, Do or dare, The thrill for the money, You're saluting the flag, Your country trusts you, Now you're wearing a badge, You're called the "Just Few", And you're fighting the wars, A soldier must do, I'll never betray or deceive you my friend but..., If you show me the cash, Then I will take it, If you tell me to cry, Then I will fake it, If you give me a hand, Then I will shake it, You'll do anything for money..., Anything… Anything for money, Would lie for you, Would die for you, Even sell my soul to the devil, Insurance? Where do your loyalties lie? Is that your alibi? I don't think so, You don't care, You'd do her for the money, Say it's fair, You sue her for the money, Want your pot of gold, Need the Midas touch, Bet you sell your soul, Cause your God is such, You don't care, You kill for the money, Do or dare The thrill for the money, Are you infected with the same disease, Of lust, gluttony and greed?, Then watch the ones, With the biggest smiles, The idle jabbers...Cause they're the backstabbers, If you know it's a lie, Then you will swear it, If you give it with guilt, Then you will bear it, If it's taking a chance, Then you will dare it, You'll do anything for money... Anything… Anything for money, Would lie for you, Would die for you, Even sell my soul to the devil. You say you wouldn't do it, For all the money in the world, I don't think so if you show me the man, Then I will sell him, If you ask me to lie, Then I will tell him, If you're dealing with God, Then you will hell him, You'll do anything for money, Anything… Anything for money, Would lie for you, Would die for you, Even sell my soul to the devil.

We can not limit the causes of happiness, the place, companionship, money or self-realization and success, But I think the happiness stems from inside us, and we can control it to a large extent, when we get something we want it then we can feel happy not because we possessed all it want, but because we are in a moment forgot the rest of the things that we need. Life here give us a string of happiness, and we have follow it and try to make it take too long. Or cut that string and kill the joy in the moment of its birth through the negative ideas. Here, nature of the human personality play a great role to be happy or naughty, some did not know the conviction but loves to look at empty half of the glass. And some people find themselves under control by the negative thoughts and painful memories which are make them live enslaved to those thoughts and look into the future with ultra dark where no space to exist the light.

Finally, I believe that life without a struggle, work and effort have no taste, and self-fulfillment is more important than money.

The Bucket List

THE BUCKET LIST

I think the bucket list it is a perfect idea, it gives us a good chance to put our wishes in front of ourselves, and I think this makes us ready to imagine being able to say at the end of our lives.

Although we should definitely include travel on our life list if seeing the world, meeting new people, and experienc different cultures are something that interests us, as well as including all of the different adventures we would like to go on, we should also take the time to decide what we want to acomplish in each area of our lives.

Now I can give some advice as the following:

Work: Starting to revise, location, independent business doing what we love, finding work that gives us a sense of fulfillment, being among the best in the world in our fields of specialization.

Family: Finding and marrying the love of our life, having a healthy, happy child, spending lots of quality time with our spouse.

Health: Having the energy and strength to do everything you want, to look and feel fit, to age well.

Adventures: Having enjoyable times through visiting incredible places like: the pyramids, safari in Africa, and Eiffel tower "Evil this for you Jude", also do something mad like: skydiving, swimming with shark, and having a journy by a ship around the world.

Contributions: Spending a long period with the Green Peace, or volunteering in homeless shelter in Occupied Palestine.

Personal Development: Having the ability to squeeze on the pause button and choosing our attitude in any situation, learning how to forgive to live with all people in peace.

The Conclusion:

With clear bucket list we can create and achieve our lives lists, it is about deciding what we really want, which means setting targets, as well as planning and budgeting, and then taking the necessary steps to accomplish our targets. The last part taking action including habits and routines into our daily lives which will help us to doing well and live in peace.

Thank you

Childhood

I had a lovely childhood because I was the youngest in my family, and my father always took me to the childrens theatre in my city to watch some plays which made me a wise child due to its talking about good things and great empititions.

When I was a child I looked forward to being a lawyer because I liked reading in politics and legal, so my father always told me I hope to see you a lawyer, and I learned from him how I could get my wishes with more patience.

When I was a child I learnd from my big brother how I could collect the money, he gave me a small jar to put all of the money I had got in it, and after a long period met him in a big celebration with louder rock music and we broke our jars and then he always took all of money I had collected.

My brother who was took my money when we was children lives now in North Ireland cpicificly in Belfast and he work as a lecturer in the Queen University, and when I came here in Nottingham he transfer to me some money to spend it before I got my bank account and got my salary from my company in Libya, so I told him these money for mine and you had it when we was young, and then he smile and told me this is really fear.
